The evening begins with a lecture, followed by refreshments and conversation. The moderator is Ola Bixo from Riksteatern Söderköping.

What are the factors that typically determine the outcome of an election, and what had the greatest impact on the 2026 election? Mikael Rundqvist presents an analysis of the election and the election campaign — why things turned out the way they did, and what the road ahead looks like. In his day-to-day work, he is based at Linköping University, where his research focuses on, among other things, what causes party systems to change or remain stable.
