Guided tour to the Sandsänkan seal sanctuary with a stop at Harstena.
Wednesdays: 1 July through 12 August
Sundays: 28 June through 16 August
Departure at 4:00 PM, return at 9:30 PM.

Join us for an exciting nature experience in the outermost reaches of the archipelago. We take you to the Sandsänkan seal sanctuary, where a seal colony has re-established itself around the Sandsänkan lighthouse. Departure from Tyrislöt or Fyrudden.

The tour begins with a visit to Harstena, where we enjoy a guided tour of the island, its history, and the former seal hunting traditions. We then continue further out to the Sandsänkan seal sanctuary to look for seals and experience the open sea. There are excellent opportunities to observe seals in their natural habitat.

We make our way back to Harstena via skerries and small rocky islets. There you will have time to explore the island further on your own, enjoy a packed lunch, or perhaps have dinner at the restaurant before the return journey at 9:00 PM.

What do I need to bring? Casual clothing. A windproof and waterproof jacket is recommended. It is not uncommon for spray to come on board and for passengers to get wet. Any food and drinks you wish to bring along.
