Wicker
Premiered and acclaimed at Sundance this year. A timely film, close and simple. Grab freshly popped popcorn to enhance the experience.
About the event
Oscar-winning Olivia Colman plays a fisherwoman living in a small coastal village. One day, she grows tired of her life as a fish-smelling singleton, constantly bored by her petty-minded neighbours. She decides to simply order a wicker man (Alexander Skarsgård) from a basket weaver. Her unconventional romance with the handsome creation stirs outrage, jealousy, and chaos throughout the conservative village.
