About the event

Edgards hus on the island of Lagnö, a historic former boarding house and telephone exchange outside Söderköping, transforms this summer into a cultural hub filled with local art and literature. Stepping inside the building, now hosted by MimmisMoments, feels like traveling 60 years back in time, beautifully blended with modern creativity.

Throughout the season, four local artists and one author are showcasing their unique creations, including sculptures, photographs, paintings, and novels. The featured creators are Ola, Martin, Gert, Emma, and the writer Stina.

This summer marks the ninth time Stina has exhibited her work here. Her display includes new booklets featuring past newspaper articles, personal memories from Sanden in the Sankt Anna Archipelago, and stories from Fjärsbo outside Åtvidaberg.

Visitors can easily combine their cultural excursion with spectacular scenic views, a relaxing café visit, or a bite to eat from the Mimmis Bar & Bistromat food truck parked on site.
