About the event

We use our whole bodies and dance a story into life together with Anna from Dansverkstan.

The book we will bring to life through dance is called Tänk om... (What if...) by author Lena Sjöberg, who has written wonderful verses about animal life and what it would be like to swap places with another creature. What if you were a little piglet, a whale calf, or a mother wasp? What could you do then?

The book is about animal life, mischief, and closeness. About adventures in the animal world, but also about security and uncertainty and how to handle them. A declaration of love for play and the relationship between the small and the big.

Imagine getting to be a spider, a fearsome lizard, or a mosquito. Getting to swing in a spider's web, ride a dino-taxi, or dance the mosquito dance all night long. Splashing around in mud, knocking over trash bins, and playing hide-and-seek between church towers, tower blocks, and balconies.

Suitable for children aged approximately 3–6 years.
